CONCERT

The details of the concert are being finalized. Check back here often for details of the "Concert Under the Stars" as they develop.

We have contracted for the Hollywood Bowl Orchestra to perform. Originally founded in 1945 as the Hollywood Bowl Symphony Orchestra by the legendary Leopold Stokowski, the ensemble disbanded two years later and was replaced for Bowl concerts by the Los Angeles Philharmonic. After 43 years, the orchestra was re-established in 1991, as the Hollywood Bowl Orchestra, under the direction of Founding Director John Mauceri. The Hollywood Bowl Orchestra performs in concerts at the Hollywood Bowl, and has made recordings for Philips Classics and toured throughout the world. The Hollywood Bowl Orchestra gave its first public performances on July 2, 3, and 4, 1991, at the Hollywood Bowl's Independence Day fireworks concerts, winning both critical and public acclaim. Since its inception, the Orchestra has established a world-wide reputation for high-class, high-voltage music-making. For more information about the Hollywood Bowl Orchestra click here.

Enjoy a uniquely Los Angeles experience and be transported by bus to enjoy a concert under the stars at the historic Hollywood Bowl.  From Casablanca to A Star Is Born to Harry Potter to Batman, this unique Movie Night concert celebrates the spectacular 85-year legacy of Warner Bros., with film scenes projected on a big screen above the Bowl stage and synced to the Hollywood Bowl Orchestra performing the soundtracks live!  The concert opens with a set by the legendary songwriter Burt Bacharach and his amazing singers, performing an extended medley of all of his famous songs from the movies, including “The Look of Love,” “Arthur,” “What’s New Pussycat?” “Raindrops Keep Fallin’ on My Head,” and “Alfie.”  And to top it all off, the evening will conclude with a spectacular Hollywood Bowl fireworks show, choreographed to live music.  It will be a night you won’t want to miss, because it happens only in Los Angeles and only at the Hollywood Bowl! [Produced in cooperation with Warner Bros. Home Video]

This program has proved to be one of the most popular summer concerts of the Hollywood Bowl Season.

The concert will begin with the conducting of the Canadian National Anthem, "O Canada" by sitting Rotary International President Wilf Wilkinson, followed by the conducting of the American National Anthem, "The Star Spangled Banner," by the winning bidder of our "Conducting the Hollywood Bowl Orchestra" auction.
